Registered Nurse - ER - PRN - 091- Emergency
DESCRIPTION: Provides safe and effective nursing care to all Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering said care. The Registered Nurse provides for technical procedures and treatments, safely and effectively as directed. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the patient assessment and reassessment through data collection and systems evaluation; patient and family education through implementation of a teaching plan, implementation of nursing intervention determined by the revision of plans of care through documentation of a patient�s responses to nursing interventions, treatments and procedures, communicating patient status on a continuous basis throughout assigned patient care. EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: Current Alabama Registered Nursing License, Basic Life Support (within 30 days)ACLS and PALS by the end of the 90-day probationary period).
