Prospective candidate must have successfully completed a Certified Scrub Technician program with one to three years of experience preferred. The OR Tech functions under the supervision of the Direrctor of Surgical Services and RNs. Acting as a surgical assistant. Must have previous surgical experience; be knowledgeable in anatomy, techniques used in surgery, along with sterile techniques and instrumentation and equipment. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility and resourcefulness in dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel; able to deliver care based on patient's needs appropriate for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
